Ministries and Leaders
At New Covenant we are constantly seeking the guidence of the Lord to unleash His people into the world to serve and glorify Him more effectively. As we recognize the leaders He has given us and understand the gifts and vision for ministry He has provided us, we design events and programs to meet the needs of those around us.
It is our goal that the various ministries of New Covenant Church would do just that: reach out in every direction and every relationship. It is our prayer that the Lord Jesus Christ would find us faithfully and
actively loving Him, serving one another, and reaching out to the lost world with His Gospel as we
anxiously await His return. We invite you to join us in this mission.
Leadership
We are elder-led, but at present we have only one elder, Pastor Hardy Smith. Elders are responsible for the direction-setting and spiritual feeding of the congregation.
Our deacons and deaconesses (the deacons' wives) are Dave and Pat Derrickson, Delton and Dorothy Polk, and Jay and Lin Rader. The deacon teams each have families in the church they seek to minister to, organized in Flocks. These flock meetings are held about once a month for the purpose of food, fellowship, food, encouragement, food, ministry, and other social events. Oh, did we mention food?
Our trustees are Delton Polk, Jay Rader, Doug Schinke, and Bill Wilder. The trustees are responsible for the physical property of New Covenant Church.

In addition, we usually groups that meet in homes during the week. These have been both Bible study groups as well as groups that specialized in ministering to specific groups, such as youth, ladies', and men's groups.
Service ministries
Our deaconesses operate a food distribution closet, and we have been able to assist the local Crossroads Crisis Pregnancy center as well.
Since several of our members are handicapped, the Lord has given us an opportunity to work with people who have different strengths and weaknesses. This blessing enables us to appreciate the grace God gives to each of us and how special each individual truly is.
As our children's and youth ministries grow, we welcome those with the desire to help our younger members learn about the Lord and grow in their faith.
